In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how you can install IPTV on VLC Player.
Step 1: Download VLC Player
- First, open your web browser.
- You need to download VLC Player. If you already have it, you can skip this step.
- In the search bar, type “VLC Player download for PC” and search.
- Click on any of the websites in the results, but make sure it’s a legitimate one. You can click on the official VideoLAN site.
- Once you are on the download page, click on the orange “Download VLC” button.
- You will be redirected to a page that says your download will start in a few seconds. It will take a moment to begin.
- Once the download is finished, run the installer and follow the steps to install it on your PC.
Step 2: Open VLC Player
- After installation, go to your PC’s search bar (like the Windows Start Menu) and search for “VLC Media Player“.
- Click on the app to open it.
Step 3: Open the Network Stream
- In the VLC Player window, click on the “Media” menu at the top.
- From the dropdown menu, click on “Open Network Stream…“.
Step 4: Get and Paste the IPTV URL
- In the network stream window, you will see a field to place the URL of your IPTV link.
- If you don’t have a URL, here is one way to get one:
- Open a new tab in your browser and go to Google.
- Search for “xtream codes m3u URL“.
- Look for a website that provides these links, like “iptv.com“.
- On these sites, you will find numerous IPTV URLs organized by category (like Animation, Audio, Business) or by language.
- You can select any category you want. For this example, I am selecting “Animation”.
- Copy the URL for the list you want to try.
Step 5: Play the Stream
- Go back to VLC Player and paste the copied URL into the network stream field.
- Click on the “Play” button.
- It will take some time (about 20 to 30 seconds) for the streaming to begin. Shortly after, you will be able to see the live stream in the player.
And that’s it! That is basically how you can install and watch IPTV on VLC Player.
