Hey, how’s it going? It’s time for some cool TV. We’re going to run a quick tutorial on how to configure STB Pro (STB Emulator). It seems like everyone always misses a step or two with this program, so let’s go through it.
As you can see, I’m using BlueStacks, which works perfectly fine. When you click on the STB Pro app, this is the first screen you get.
Step 1: Accessing Settings
Your first step is to click on the “Settings” gear icon. You can use a mouse or your remote control. Please note, on some Android TV boxes—especially those running Android 7.1 or newer versions like Android 8—the mouse function sometimes doesn’t work. If it does work, click there, or just use your remote.
Step 2: Creating a Profile
From the Settings menu, navigate to “Profiles.” Here, you will add a new profile. You can name it anything you want. For this example, we’ll call it “New IPTV.” Click “OK” to confirm.
Step 3: Portal Settings

Now, go to “Portal Settings.” This is where you enter the URL provided by your IPTV subscription service. For instance, if your URL is http://tvappapk.com
, you would enter it here. Save the URL, and you’re done with this part.
Step 4: STB Configuration
Go back one step and select “STB Configuration.” Here are the key settings:
- Model: By default, this is set to 250. The most popular model on the market is actually 254, so you can set it to that or leave it at 250.
- Firmware: Leave this as “Generic.”
- User Agent: You can leave this at its default setting.
- Screen Resolution: It’s best to set this to 1280×720. If you’re unsure, you can use “Auto,” but I usually stick with 1280×720.
- MAC Address: The first six digits always stay the same. You can change the rest. Since we’re using an emulator, any MAC address will work. For example, let’s create one:
00:0F:35
. This is the MAC address you would provide to your service provider. - Serial Number: It’s best to delete the serial number. The reason is that if you want to use the same subscription on multiple devices in your home (you can’t use them simultaneously), leaving it blank prevents the app from registering your device’s specific serial number. For example, you can use one subscription in your bedroom and another in your living room by just switching the app.

Once you’ve made these changes, click “OK.” There’s nothing else you really need to change in the hardware settings.
Step 5: Finalizing
You’ve entered your portal URL, model, and MAC address. Now, all that’s left is to exit the application completely and then restart it. If everything is configured correctly, it should connect.
Of course, since we didn’t use a real portal URL, our example shows an error. You should see a successful connection screen or a blue bar if your settings are correct.
Stay tuned for another video where we’ll cover how to set up key mapping and other features of the STB emulator.

Technology has always fascinated me. From the first time I used a computer to the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, I’ve been amazed by how fast the world around us changes. Technology isn’t just about gadgets or machines; it’s about creativity, problem-solving, and making life better for everyone.
Every new invention tells a story of human curiosity and determination. Whether it’s a smartphone that connects us instantly or a smart home device that makes daily life easier, technology reflects how far we’ve come — and how far we can still go. I love exploring new tools, apps, and systems that improve productivity and help people stay connected.
What excites me most is how technology opens endless possibilities. It allows people to learn new skills, share knowledge, and even build careers from anywhere in the world. It brings innovation to every field — education, medicine, communication, and entertainment.
For me, technology is not just a passion; it’s a way of thinking. It challenges us to find smarter, faster, and more creative solutions. I believe that those who embrace technology will always stay one step ahead in shaping the future.
