Plex is a media server that organizes and streams your personal media libraries such as videos, photos and music. But Plex can also act as a hub for live TV broadcasts via IPTV. Although Plex does not support IPTV directly, you can seamlessly integrate IPTV into Plex with some external tools like xTeVe or Telly, and even record programs using DVR functionality.
When I first started using Plex Media Server with IPTV, I found it to be a game changer for managing and streaming content. Instead of shuttling between multiple apps or devices, Plex brought everything together in one streamlined interface.
Plex does not directly support IPTV. However, you can use an external tool like xTeVe or Telly to act as an intermediary between your IPTV service and Plex.
These tools allow you to create a virtual tuner in Plex and trick it into thinking you are using a real TV tuner, but in reality it broadcasts IPTV channels.
